VISION

The redevelopment will deliver a vibrant, competitive, beautiful, resilient, contemporary and financially sustainable development that responds to the unique bush capital landscape setting of Canberra and the Yowani site.

The redevelopment will enhance the premier approach to the National Capital by creating a new benchmark in liveability, developing a connected and sustainable community with a distinctive character.

CONCEPT MASTER PLAN

Yowani Grounds connects a new mixed-use precinct and club house with the park setting of the existing golf course.

At the heart of the master plan is a new club house on the opposite side of Sullivan’s Creek with hospitality and club spaces looking out over a new signature 18th green and the greater grounds.

The mixed-use development model follows a gradual shift in scale. A sweep of low-rise terraces and townhouses are sited along the meandering path of Sullivan’s Creek and feature uninterrupted views over the golf course. Density increases towards Northbourne Avenue, with an activated retail and office ground plane forming a dynamic edge. Central to the precinct is its core commercial zone, which includes retail, cafes and landscaped public open space.
